On October 8th, the Clarke County Sheriff's Office is hosting a career event for potential applicants. For those considering a career in law enforcement this is an excellent opportunity to learn about the deputy sheriff position, take a tour, ask questions and meet the great people working inside the Sheriff's Office.
Our motto is “Serving our Community”. We protect and serve the community of Athens Clarke County by providing courthouse security, serving court orders, and housing those persons who have been accused of breaking our laws. We set out to hire dedicated persons who want to build or further their careers in law enforcement by having a first assignment in our Jail, and then expanding their careers in other service areas. The Sheriff's Office has a lot to offer and we welcome you to join our TEAM
Space is limited and registration is required to attend. We will start at 10:30 a.m. at the jail. Please complete the registration below to receive confirmation of your spot to attend. Due to the facility being a secure facility was ask that only those who have registered to be present. Once registered, you'll receive an email confirmation within twenty-four to forty-eight hours.
