Purpose
This privacy statement explains why we are running this survey, what information we are seeking from you, and how we will use and look after that information.
Why we are running this survey?
The survey collects information about community and whānau views of the proposed cancellation of the Integration Agreement for St Joseph's School, Pātea. We are collecting this information as part of our consultation with interested persons and groups.

Survey responses will be used to inform a report to the Minister on the community responses to the proposed cancellation. This will primarily be for internal Ministry of Education use but may be released more widely. You will not be identified in the report, but your responses may be anonymously quoted.
Information collected in the survey
We will ask you some questions about your connections to the school and your views on the cancellation of the Integration Agreement. We ask these details to better allow us to analyse the responses we receive. If any identifiable personal information is provided, it will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
Sharing of your personal information
Your responses may be shared with School's Commissioner as part of analysis work but will be anonymised before being shared.
Responses to this survey may be subject to public release under the Official Information Act. If we receive a request and release your responses as part of this, we will seek to protect your privacy – including not disclosing your identity – to the full extent permitted under law.
