The Biocom Institute Veteran Career Mentoring Program provides meaningful career readiness experiences to local veterans interested in obtaining gainful employment in the life sciences.

Veteran participants are matched with mentors in the life science sector, who support the veterans through a four-month program by providing industry-specific knowledge and exposure to a variety of facets of the industry, making meaningful introductions, and assisting in goal setting and achievement.

Participation in this program does not guarantee job placement or job offer from mentor. All military branches are welcome to apply. Participation is limited to veterans living in San Diego County.

Please note that while the mentors are here to guide and assist participants, the expectation will be that the participants take the initiative and make the most of these opportunities, networking events, resources, etc.

Program Details:

·         Program dates: October 2018 - February 2019

·         Participants are given free admission to select Biocom events and are invited to attend at least one (1) free event per month

·         A Career Fair will take place in November to assist with interview skills and the job search
