Welcome to GEO's 2025 Bargaining Survey!

Our current contract between graduate workers and the university is ending this academic year. The Graduate Employees' Organization (GEO), made up of graduate workers across all departments, will begin bargaining this year for our new contract. The purpose of the following survey is to gather information for bargaining. It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Please note that you do NOT need to be a member of GEO to take this survey. By providing responses in this survey, you will help us to better understand the experiences and needs of graduate workers across campus, so that we can continue to fight for our rights, protections, and benefits!
  • This survey may be taken completely anonymously. If you would like to provide your name and email address, you may choose at the end of the survey to be entered into a drawing to win one of the new, limited edition GEO Opossum mugs!
  • Note: Responses to this survey will only be accessible to the GEO Secretary/data team. Any identifiable data will not be linked to your individual responses when analyzed by the Secretary/data team and any presentation or reports from this survey will be presented via aggregated results. IP addresses will not be collected. If you are uncomfortable responding to any of the items, please feel free to leave them blank and skip ahead to the next question.
