Multi-Disciplinary Mentorship Programs:
Connect with professionals and trainees in low resourced areas through opportunities provided by IGCS established mentoring programs. These will provide all you to provide guidance, knowledge sharing in a collaborative team approach.
International Journal of Gynecological Cancer (IJGC) Reviewer:
Become a reviewer for submitted manuscripts and support the editorial team in upholding the journal’s high standards.
Education:
Participate in the development of year-round education for the multidisciplinary gynecologic cancer care team. Sharing your knowledge in a webinar, podcast or participating in a tumor board through one of our workgroups in our multi-disciplinary education model (Palliative Care, Pathology, Radiation Oncology, Nursing, Surgery, Preinvasive Disease , Advances and Updates (Medical Oncology)
Annual Meeting Participation:
Contribute to IGCS’s Annual Global Meeting through opportunities such as abstract review, program and session development, and faculty roles.
Join an IGCS Community:
IGCS is in the process of piloting networks with the idea of bringing together members with shared interests, regional proximity and areas of expertise. Currently available is Radiation/clinical oncology, Medical oncology, Latin America, Africa and Middle East and Early Career Network.
Collaborative Research and Data Collection:
Join colleagues in building a global registry for rare tumor cases, such as selected GTD cases and rare cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancers. This registry is a global initiative that will be open to all IGCS members worldwide.
IGCS Expanded Training:
The program offers several valuable opportunities for IGCS members who are interested in assisting with executing important components of the program to meet the needs of members who identify the need for additional training to further their careers and skills. Maybe you are interested in hosting a member to observe at your institution, help with planning or hosting short surgical courses, or be a part of training in minimally invasive surgery.
