2020 AAMI & GE Healthcare BMET of the Year Award

This award is given to a biomedical equipment technician (BMET) to recognize individual dedication, achievement, and excellence in the field of healthcare technology management.

Note: Nominees may not be self-nominated for this award.

The prize consists of a plaque to be presented at the 2020 AAMI Exchange in New Orleans, LA, and a $1,500 check.

Entries for the AAMI & GE Healthcare BMET of the Year Award must include:

Nominator’s cover letter that provides a rationale statement describing the nominee’s role in special projects or studies that have made a difference to the field as well as any HTM challenge or problem they worked to resolve while highlighting their excellence in the HTM field.

Two or more letters of recommendation supporting this nomination from supervisors, colleagues, and industry partners.
