13) NE 143rd St Neighborhood Greenway
Background
- The NE 143rd St Neighborhood Greenway provides an off-corridor option to NE 145th St for people walking and biking. The project provides a key east-west connection for the northeast sector of the study area. The NE 143rd St Neighborhood Greenway connects the existing 27th Ave NE neighborhood greenway to the proposed 15th Ave NE protected bike lanes that provide access to the 145th St Station.
- The project provides improved access for people walking and biking to the 145th St Station, Northgate Gospel Chapel, and QFC.
