Introduction - Why Critical Skills Matter

Ibbaka operates a skill management system that is used to understand skills at the individual, team and organization levels. This information is used by individuals to signal their core and target skills and to promote internal mobility. Teams use it to make sure they have the required skills. This survey is meant to help you think about the critical skills you will use and that you need to develop in 2022.

A critical skill is one that (i) without which you could not provide value to your team and organization, (ii) is part of your differentiation (how you are different from other people) and (iii) that helps you prepare for the future.
