Participants will learn what a Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) is/is not, the goals of a PAIP, what makes an effective PAIP, and how to make a referral to a PAIP. Participants will also gain an understanding of how PAIPs provide trauma-informed services while still maintaining the key program focus of participant accountability. Presenters will use a power point to guide the presentation. Participants will be asked to share their understanding of perpetrator work, their level of comfort with the issue, and share examples cognitive-behavioral interventions.
