Piermont Traffic Survey

We are excited that so many people are discovering the Village of Piermont! Unfortunately, the downside to this popularity is that the number of people, bikes, and cars on our local roads has increased. The Village of Piermont has formed a Traffic Committee, comprised of Piermont residents, local government officials, and representatives from the police department, fire department, and DPW.  Our goal is to make Piermont a safer place for our residents and our visitors.  Please help us by filling out this traffic survey and sharing your ideas with us.

* 1. Are you a Piermont resident?

* 2. Which specific locations in Piermont do you think have a traffic issue that needs to be addressed? (check all that apply)

* 3. Some residents have expressed concerns about speeding in the Village. Are there specific streets where you think speeding is an issue? (check all that apply) Any suggestions for how to fix the speeding problems?

* 4. The hairpin turn on Ash Street is the corner we all love to hate. How would you fix it?

* 5. Residents have complained that the five-way intersection of Gair Street, Ohio Street, Piermont Avenue, and Tate Avenue is getting increasingly congested and dangerous. How would you fix it?

* 6. Are there areas in Piermont where you think additional signage or other simple solutions might improve traffic safety? Please elaborate.

* 7. Some residents have suggested that we need additional sidewalks in the Village of Piermont. Are there any locations where you feel sidewalks would be helpful? Please specify.
