Multiple pathways to building evidence of learning. Opportunity for increase in the variety of teaching and learning strategies. Teachers have been able to become coaches and mentors. Equity of available technology allows teachers and instruction to meet learners where they are in terms of individual strengths and needs. Professional development options are helping teachers take greater advantage of the options that technology resources offer. Availability of professional development through a variety of methods help make teachers feel less isolated. Sharing of instructional resources across professional learning networks helps to strengthen the offering due to collaborative use and design. Being able to bring the world to your students as a result of the available technology and network resources is a big success. Technology has enable positive changes in administrative protocols including announcements, internal communications and discipline. Technology resources have enabled greater efficiency for meetings, professional development access and opportunity while no longer being defined by distances and environmental conditions. Administration has been able to become the driving force behind teaching and learning in their buildings through goals settings and expectations as a result of greater efficiencies in other areas of their responsibilities. Administrators have access to the same MLTI resources as teachers and can engage around goal setting and expectations with regard to technology integration in the classroom. Access to technology integrators and facilitators in the building helps drive the opportunity for greater student engagement. Availability of the devices has allowed for greater collaboration and has changed the physical layout of the classroom, all for greater engagement and learning. Availability of the devices has changed the way teachers manage their classrooms and instructional models. Digital resources have become much more available and of a higher quality. Equity of digital devices and digital resources has provided greater access to traditionally challenged populations with regard to vision, hearing and other physical capacity. The role that IT plays has shifted due the increased availability of digital devices and resources to more closely mirror instructional needs and opportunities in the classroom as well as across content disciplines. Students are able to build evidence of learning using a variety of digital and other resources to more closely match their learning styles. MLTI has encouraged and influenced educators to consider technology use and application in the design of their instruction. The availability of devices at home means that access to learning no longer ends at 2 PM. Done
