RDAMR, RCMB and EEA are seeking feedback to provide an evidence of need for a pilot Learner Driver Support Program in the Murraylands.

In most cases in South Australia a learner driver completes his or her 75 hours of practical driving in the family or a friend’s car. The qualified licensed driver accompanying the learner being a parent or friend of the learner. Unfortunately that is not the case for all learner drivers.

We wish to know the approximate number of youth you are aware of who have no access to a car or a qualified driver so they can complete the required 75 hours of practical driving that forms part of the graduated South Australian Drivers Licence.

Your answers to this brief survey will allow for further program development and give an indicative indication of the program’s need.
