Caldwell Public Library Teen Volunteer Form

Thank you for your interest in being a teen volunteer at Caldwell Public Library. We welcome volunteer help from teens in Grades 7-12 year-round and can be flexible working with your busy schedules. Teen volunteers help with programs, reading buddies, crafts, and special projects. To learn more, fill out this application and we'll contact you. * 7. Are You Interested in Being A Reading Buddy? Reading Buddies are paired with a child in grades K-5 who is learning to read.

* 8. Are you interested in joining the Teen Action Committee? The Teen Action Committee meets monthly to help plan upcoming programs at the library, helps with collection development, plus more. Volunteer hours are earned for attending meetings.

* 10. Teen Volunteer Agreement Rules 
I understand that I will receive service hours and a recommendation letter, but will not be paid. I will be courteous and helpful to library patrons, staff, and other volunteers. I will show up and sign in only when I am scheduled. If I am unable to work my shift, I will let the library know as soon as possible by call or email. I agree not to use my cell phone or other mobile device during my shift. I will focus on my assignment and not socialize while I am working. I understand that if my behavior or attendance becomes a problem, I may be asked to leave the program.
