Our Ask
We need to know from you – our stakeholders, partners and organizations on the ground – what implementation actions you think MTC and ABAG should prioritize to move Plan Bay Area 2050+ strategies (including new strategies from Transit 2050+) forward.

Background
Plan Bay Area 2050+ is a limited and focused update to the already adopted Plan Bay Area 2050. It is a long-term plan and vision that puts forward policy ideas and investment proposals that could transform the San Francisco Bay Area into a more resilient and equitable place to live, work and play through the year 2050. To identify the near-term steps necessary to accelerate this long-term vision, the Implementation Plan focuses on concrete actions that MTC and ABAG can advance, in partnership with other organizations (you!), through the year 2030.

To help further contextualize the survey, staff have prepared a short explainer video. The survey also includes links to relevant reference documents to provide further context where appropriate.

Instructions for this Survey
Choose your own adventure. You can answer questions for sections that are most related to your work/experience and feel free to skip others as you see fit. If you plan to provide input on more than a few strategies, be sure to set aside sufficient time to complete the survey.

Prioritization is the name of the game. Your input will help focus this Implementation Plan on impactful, concrete items that are actionable. The Implementation Actions you see offered in the survey are largely informed by input received from partner workshops held in September 2024.

Don’t feel limited. After providing input on existing ideas, there are free-response questions for you to propose new actions that you think MTC/ABAG should consider in the next phase of the Implementation Plan’s development.

These actions are preliminary. The actions you see in this survey are a place to start, but are still tentative and could/will change significantly as we receive your feedback and begin to further understand general priorities going forward.
