Nursing Success NCLEX Voucher Application Form
The Mississippi State Board of Nursing (MSBoN) Office of Nursing Workforce (ONWard) is offering a limited number of NCLEX vouchers to assist eligible Mississippi nursing students graduating on or before DECEMBER 31, 2026 with the cost of the exam.
The voucher covers the current $200 NCLEX registration fee for eligible first-time NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN test-takers.
Beginning February 1, 2027, the NCLEX registration fee will increase to $350. Applicants selected for a voucher are strongly encouraged to complete their Pearson VUE NCLEX registration on or before January 31, 2027, to avoid out-of-pocket expenses related to the fee increase.
Voucher Eligibility Requirements:
Eligible applicants must:
1. Be a Mississippi resident. International applicants are not considered Mississippi residents for voucher purposes.
2. Be a graduate of an accredited or approved pre-licensure nursing program located in the state of Mississippi on or before DECEMBER 31, 2026.
3. Be taking the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN test for the first time.
4. Complete the Application for Licensure by Examination and pay all required fees through Gateway for official transcript verification on or before October 12, 2026.
5. Plan to complete their Pearson Vue NCLEX registration on or before January 31, 2027.
NOTE- the voucher application process for nursing graduates after December 31, 2026 will be announced in early 2027.

If you are selected to receive an NCLEX voucher, you will receive a voucher award notification and voucher code.
After receiving your voucher code, you will complete your Pearson VUE NCLEX registration and use the voucher code as payment for the NCLEX fee.
- DO NOT complete the Pearson VUE NCLEX registration or pay the NCLEX fee before receiving your voucher code. ONWard cannot reimburse applicants who have already paid the Pearson VUE NCLEX fee.
