Janus Lecture NSGC 2019 Annual Conference |
The Janus Lecture is an annual presentation at the NSGC Annual Conference. Its name refers to the ancient Roman god, Janus, who is said to have been depicted with two faces, one looking to the past and one to the future. In this spirit, the Janus Lecture features a genetic counselor with expertise in a specific specialty area or disorder, sharing his/her expertise on the past, present and future of the specialty area or disorder.
NSGC is seeking nominations for the Janus Lecture at NSGC’s 38th Annual Conference. One, 30-minute lecture will be selected for presentation at the conference. To nominate yourself or a colleague, please complete the fields below. After the close of the nomination process in January 2019, we will reach out to the nominee to request a CV. A final selection will be made in late-February/early March and the nominator and nominee will be notified at that time. If you have any questions, please contact speakers@nsgc.org.
