ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist classification (RRCP).
-Licensed with the College of Respiratory Therapists (Ontario).
-Experience in cardiac and pulmonary diagnostics performance.
-Member of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (General Certificate).
-1-2 year critical care experience.
-1-2 years neonate experience.
-1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
-Satisfactory attendance.

-Working knowledge of computerized patient documentation/systems workload management.

-Demonstrated ability to support and embrace the philosophy of Service Excellence and Patient and Family Centred Care.
-Demonstrated participation in building a culture of safety and partnering with each other to improve the safety of patient care processes and systems.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)
-All Housekeeping duties related to custodial work, and Infection Control.
-Performance of cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic testing.
-Respiratory therapy support in critical care and general acute care and neonate care.
-Critical care transport; air and land.
-Delivery of education; hospital staff, patients, community.
-Technical support related to respiratory therapy.
