2020 SETAC Regional Chapters Science Fair Funding Request Form |
Each year the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry North America (SETAC NA) provides a limited amount of funding to Regional Chapters to support awards made at regional or local science fairs within their geographic region. The funds are intended to supplement the existing Regional Chapter budgets, with availability contingent upon annual budget. Proposals must be received by 1st of February.
All proposals will be reviewed by the Regional Chapter Committee Chair(s).
Science Fair Award proposals will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Financial needs of the Chapter
- Previously received funding
- Amount of proposed cash award(s)
- Thoroughness of the proposal (i.e., identification of particular science fair(s), location, date, regional chapter contact person or coordinator).
After the award(s) are given, cost documentation should be submitted to the SETAC office (attention Laura Swanson) for reimbursement. Under special circumstances, funds may be requested in advance of the science fairs.
