Biathlon 4 All - Parents

We are evaluating the effects and outcomes of the Biathlon 4 All (B4A) project as part of our work under the IBU Mentorship Programme. The collected data will help us make suggestions to the B4A Project Coordinator.

The B4A project was launched in 2023 and aims to promote Olympic Biathlon and Para Biathlon through the use of laser/optical rifles in various settings and activities (try-outs, trainings, competitions, challenges, master classes, exhibitions, etc.). This project forms part of a larger IBU Target 2030 Strategy and is executed in partnership with National Federations. More information is available on the project website here.

This survey is aimed at parents of children mainly under 12. It aims to explore their perceptions of biathlon, as well as the motivations and barriers influencing their decision to involve their children in the sport.

The estimated completion time is 10 minutes.

The deadline for completing the survey is 28 February 2026.

This survey is anonymous and the data will be used for the project's objectives only.
