What is the YPAB?

The Young Professionals Advisory Board is a select cohort of emerging leaders dedicated to shaping the future of Greater Palm Springs.

This one-year commitment offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic guidance to the TEAM GPS Foundation. Members are asked to actively participate in our mission by attending two foundation events and two virtual board meetings annually, and by collaborating with fellow board members to organize at least one signature fundraising or awareness initiative.

We are looking for passionate, driven individuals ready to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our team. By joining us, you will gain invaluable board experience, expand your professional network, and hone your leadership skills, all while making a tangible, lasting impact on our local community.

This opportunity is for college/university juniors and seniors or those that are in the earlier stages of their career journey.

Program Commitment & Additional Information:
Your commitment to the board is for one year.
During this time, we ask for your engagement in the following key areas:
1. Events & Networking
We ask that each board member actively participate in our community by:
Attending a minimum of two VGPS/Foundation mixers or events per year.
Bringing at least one potential Advisory Council member from your professional network to an event.
2. Group Activity
You will collaborate with fellow board members to:
Organize and execute at least one annual group activity focused on fundraising or awareness building for the Foundation.
3. Foundation Meetings
We value your perspective and insights in our official board proceedings:
Attending two virtual or in-person Foundation board meetings per year.
Being prepared to present a brief update on your board's activities at these meetings.
