Many of you will recall that a Neighbourhood Plan is a document which has legal status for planning purposes and helps to guide the provision of future housing and other developments in the whole of Goostrey Parish (not only the village).
The community decides what it contains. It only comes into force if there is a majority vote in favour (of those who vote) in a formal referendum.
We will analyse the information you give us, along with various other reports to create a new Draft Neighbourhood Plan.
The residents of Goostrey Parish will then be invited to comment on the plan and, following amendments, it will be submitted to Cheshire East Council and then an Independent Examiner for legal approval.
As last time, it will finally be brought back to the residents of Goostrey Parish for a referendum vote.
