Level 1 – one year of safeguarding experience and the SACPA Certificate or equivalent

Level 2 – three years of safeguarding experience and the SACPA Diploma or equivalent

Level 3 – seven years of safeguarding experience, including leadership experience, and the SACPA Diploma or equivalent

Level 4 – twelve years of safeguarding experience, including leadership experience, and the SACPA Diploma or equivalent, plus evidence of developing safeguarding professionals in other settings (for example, as a tutor)
