The AIHA Environmental Issues Committee welcomes nominations for the Rachel Carson Award. This award is presented to an individual or individuals or companies who have achieved outstanding success in their EHS business, profession, or life’s work, especially towards advancing the public’s awareness of environmental safety and health issues, problems, and solutions that adversely affect the community and the environment.

Criteria: The nominee must have advanced the awareness of environmental safety and health issues; problems and solutions; or recognition, evaluation, and control of a hazard that adversely affects the community and the environment. Note... It is NOT a requirement that the nominee is a member of the AIHA Environmental Issues Committee or a member of AIHA.
