Survey Consent Form


You are invited to take part in a research survey regarding the collaboration of architects, landscape architects and engineers in sustainable stormwater management design being conducted through the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Toronto in collaboration with Autocase. This survey is intended for individuals involved in the design of sites (residential, recreational, institutional, commercial, municipal, industrial etc.) that involve some consideration of stormwater management systems. Your participation will require approximately 15 minutes and is to be completed on-line on your computer, tablet or smartphone.  Your participation will be completely anonymous and data will be analyzed in aggregate.

By completing this survey you will be participating in a research study that will increase understanding of the roles of architects, landscape architects and engineers in the design of stormwater management systems and how these roles affect the incorporation of sustainable stormwater management systems into the design. Your participation in this survey will support the development of effective tools for the implementation of sustainable stormwater management in site design and further promote the development of sustainable urban centres.

Taking part in this study is completely voluntary. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential, and digital data will be stored in a secure manner.  Any report of this research that is made available to the public will not include your name or any other individual information by which you could be identified.  If you have questions or want a copy or summary of this study’s results, you can contact the researcher, Kirstin Newfield at .
