SMALL HELP FOR SSDF#18
Thanks to the generosity of several ʻSmall OGʻsʻ, SSDF#18 has funding to support the cost of registration for seven first-time attendees, with the goal of exposing young professionals to the importance of Small Scale Development as a career, and to help bring a more diverse group of participants into our Forum conversations. Selected candidates are responsible for their own travel and lodging (if applicable). Available sponsorships include:
Lander Emerging Developer Sponsor: Michael Lander For first time attendees in the Nashville area, who are just entering the real estate development profession and want to direct their career toward Small. REAL Property Group Emerging Developer Sponsor: Hal Shapiro For first time attendees from the Kansas City region, who are just entering the real estate development profession, and are looking to learn more about how to get started and want to direct their career toward Small Development projects as a way to get started. CRAFT Development Public Leadership for Small Sponsor: Jim Heid For first time attendees who work in the public sector support – either in leadership or as staff, and are interested in learning how to make Small easier to implement in their communities. Interstruct Architect-as-Developer Sponsor: Ryan Young For first time attendee Architects or designers who would like to become their own clients, Building Small.
Venue Projects Aspiring Developer Sponsor: Lorenzo Perez For first time attendees, whose background reflects an under-represented cohort in the development profession, and would like to direct their career toward Small Development projects as a way to improve their local community. Incremental Developers Graduate Student Sponsorship Sponsor: Derek Thomas For first time attendees who are just completing their graduate degree in real estate development or design and wish to direct their career toward Small Scale, Incremental Development.
