Outstanding activities directed at building a stronger state chapter.
Purpose of the Award
Recognizing a FMHCA local chapter member whose dedication, energy, service, and leadership have strengthened the state chapter in such ways as membership growth, innovative program development, increased participation in sponsored events, and enhanced membership services. Eligible nominees should promote the goals and missions of his or her local chapter as well as the mental health counseling profession.
Procedure for Nomination
Any local chapter president (or their designee) must submit materials documenting activities and a brief statement indicating why their local chapter should receive an award in the category.
Criteria
Submit a letter of nomination (no longer than 2 pages) describing the activities/publications/services provided and indicating, in specific terms, why the local chapter is outstanding.
Include a copy of published materials pertaining to the item nominated.
