This survey is for residents of Arapahoe County, Douglas County or the City of Aurora who have have a family member with an intellectual and or developmental disability, INCLUDING AUTISM. This data will be shared with county and state officials to improve our access to funding and programs.

Yes, when I reached out to Developmental Pathways, they have been prompt, responsive and helpful.
When I reached out to Developmental Pathways, they took a while to get back to me but once they did they were supportive and helpful.
When I reached out to Developmental Pathways, I did not hear back and had to keep calling and it was discouraging.
When I reached out to Developmental Pathways, I never got a response back.

Yes, we are in Early Intervention.
Yes, we are in Family Support Services Program (FSSP), a state funded program for those not on a medicaid waiver.
Yes, we are on a HCBS waiver.
Not sure if we are on a program, or which one, but I have a contact person there
I live in Arapahoe or Douglas Co and am on a waiver, but chose to use a different case management agency
I am not sure if I am in a program or not, I gave up in frustration
I have never known about Developmental Pathways, waivers or options for funding

Yes, they have been responsive and helpful.
Sorta, I know who I can reach out however I have to really be persistent.
Not really, I find it difficult to be directed to the right person

I never have contacted them because I didn't know about them.
Getting into a program was very challenging, but now my current coordinator is helpful.

Yes, I did ask and get funding. It was an easy and helpful process.

Were you aware that since 2002, both Arapahoe and Douglas county collect a mill levy assessment on property taxes to fund unmet needs for residents with intellectual and or developmental disabilities?
Voters approved this locally in 2001.
These funds go to Developmental Pathways (100% in Arapahoe and 95% in Douglas County) to fund "unmet needs?

2 stars: Mediocre, I have requested items and have them approved, and received them, after knowing how and what to ask for
1 star: Poor, I did not get the funding after spending time and energy asking.
