International Friends and Family Program - Community Members

The International Friends & Family Program was formed to extend a warm welcome and hospitality to international students at SVSU.

Over the years, this Program has facilitated many lasting friendships, promoted cultural exchange, and enabled international students to experience many beautiful Michigan attractions. Participation may range from special occasions (i.e. Thanksgiving) to weekly get-togethers.

Please note that this program is designed to match students with community members, peers, and friends in the area. It is not designed to facilitate any type of residential ‘homestay’ arrangements.
