Preliminary Schedule and Registration Form

Please complete the registration form below the schedule.
Climate Impacts Research Centre (CIRC) will hold its annual Autumn Research Symposium from 11-13 September 2019. The schedule is designed to accommodate train travel between Umeå and Abisko. Please take the train!

The number of participants is limited to 50 and we will prioritize registrations presenting results as talks or posters. Participants should arrive no later than 11 September. The symposium will take place at the Abisko Scientific Research Station.

On 11 September, there will be an optional full-day workshop, ‘Communicating your science effectively to the public’. It is open to all researchers, limited to 20 persons, and you must register in advance and participate in the entire days activities. The goal of the workshop is to help researchers to put their research into a perspective that is both interesting for the public and has impact. We focus on story-telling and crafting a two-minute elevator talk. Those who participate will be encouraged to present their elevator talk at the "speed talk" session.
