1. The roles and functions of Queensland Parliament
Students explore the history, composition, functions and responsibilities of our state parliament through activities and small group work.

2. The committee system in Queensland
Students learn about the role of Parliamentary Committees in Queensland’s unicameral Parliament. For classes of 15-30 this includes participation in a role play highlighting the role of both committee members and stakeholders.

3. The legislative process in Queensland
Students learn how laws are made in Queensland Parliament. For classes of 15-30 this includes participation in a role play demonstrating the role of Members in debating and passing law.
