We are excited to hear about your project and look forward to your application. Note there is no application fee, but the information provided will be confirmed, and additional information may be collected. Applications or a note of interest must be received before Friday, March 3, 2017 to be considered for the 2017 event.

You will be required to provide verification documents (e.g. HERS report, certification proof, etc).

If your home is selected, you will be asked to provide at least one high resolution (1 MB or larger) home photo or rendering suitable for publication in print and online.

As the primary contact for the home, you will work with USGBC-Illinois staff to secure a minimum of $1,000 in sponsorships to feature your home on the tour.  Sponsorship can be comprised of single or multiple sponsors including builders, designers, products, or services used in your home.  Upon submitting your application, USGBC-Illinois staff will request a detailed list of potential sponsor contact information along with outreach assistance to secure sponsors.

There are also packages available if you are interested in additional recognition, including purchasing an ad to highlight your company in our event program or having materials about your company distributed to all tour attendees.  Please contact Joan Martin for sponsorship opportunities.

Please prepare to spend at least 20 minutes completing this application. Information handy to have prior to completing the application is any energy performance test results, specifications and features of the home, and the contact information for potential sponsors.

Please contact Katie Kaluzny if you have questions about the application.
