Introduction to TCQPlus

Dear Colleague:
The Center for Quality Improvement & Innovation is seeking people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH) and partnering Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) recipient staff to participate in the Training of Consumers on Quality Plus (TCQPlus) program. The TCQPlus session will be held May 29-31, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Westin Cincinnati.
The Westin Cincinnati
21 E 5th Street
Cincinnati, OH 45202

The goal of the TCQPlus Program is to train PLWH and RWHAP staff to build their capacity to deliver Quality Improvement trainings to consumers in their local jurisdictions. The rigorous TCQPlus Program includes extensive pre-work assignments, a 3-day face-to-face training session, and post-training activities to reinforce the training content and assist in evaluation activities. TCQPlus graduates are expected to conduct at least one (1) local Training of Consumers on Quality (TCQ) session with consumers within 3 to 6 months of the face-to-face TCQPlus session; as well as meaningfully participate in the RWHAP recipient’s Clinical Quality Management program. It is our aim to build upon the success of the TCQ Program and increase the number of qualified consumer TCQ trainers. For more details about the TCQ and TCQPlus Program, please visit NationalQualityCenter.org/TCQPlus.

To participate in the TCQPlus Program, RWHAP recipient staff and PLWH must complete a joint application and agree to serve as a “Training Team.”  Training Teams must consist of 1-3 PLWH and one RWHAP staff person who is actively involved in the Clinical Quality Management program. All partners play vital roles in planning, managing, and delivering local Training of Consumers on Quality (TCQ) sessions to consumers in their local jurisdictions.

The completed TCQPlus application and supporting documents must be received by close of business on Friday May 8, 2019 at 5:00 pm (ET) in order to be considered. Incomplete applications or those missing required documentation will not be considered.

Please feel free to share this application link to anyone you think may be interested in participating in the TCQPlus program.
