Disclosing Your Disability: What are your responsibilities?

Disability Alliance BC (DABC) is embarking on a project on the issue of disclosure of disability, and we would like to learn what people with disabilities know about disclosure.

Disclosure, in the context of employment for example, means telling your employer or potential employer about your disability. There are rules regarding when a person with a disability is and isn’t required to disclose their disability in relation to employment, as well as in education.

Your understanding of these issues will help us in planning our work in this area. Completed surveys received by September 15/15 will be entered in a draw for two gift certificates to Starbucks or London Drugs.

Thank you for taking the time to answer these short questions.
