Secured a big discount on Bike Share Toronto memberships for ALL UHN staff and volunteers

Improved the Toronto Western bike cage and added more bike racks to Michener Institute, Bickle Centre, Toronto General

UHN has over 50 EV charging stations at no extra cost other than parking. Find them at Toronto General, Toronto Western, and Toronto Rehab Lyndhurst & Rumsey.

Electricity to power the car is a tiny fraction of gas costs (likely more so in future)

Ultra-low overnight electricity pricing is planned for April 2023, making charging overnight even cheaper

Standard EVs can also fly

EVs have much lower maintenance costs (no oil changes, no engine to maintain)

Government grants up to $5000 to buy or lease a Zero-Emissions Vehicle (ZEV)
(lower cost models only, EV, Plug-in-Hybrid and Hydrogen Fuel Cell)

$1,000 incentive for a used EV, and another $1,000 for scrapping your old gas car via Plug-n-Drive

Save time by not going to a gas station. EV drivers often charge at home overnight or while they work. If you need a charge, lots available on this map.
