Statewide and community organizations can help connect pregnant women, new moms, infants and children under age 5 with the New York State WIC program. WIC provides supplemental foods, health care referrals, nutrition education, and breastfeeding promotion and support to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Statewide, the NYS Department of Health estimates that we are reaching only approximately one-half of potentially eligible New Yorkers.

For a limited time, Hunger Solutions New York is providing professionally printed outreach materials available on the WIC Help NY’s Resource Center to statewide partners and community organizations to order in bulk for free.

Complete the online tool below to request your free materials.

Many families who have become unemployed or underemployed due to the economic impacts of COVID-19 may be eligible for federal nutrition programs. Hunger Solutions New York’s goal is to continue engaging partners to seize opportunities to connect families with programs that will alleviate hunger. We will support you in these efforts by continuing to provide resources and information to make this as easy as possible; many will be located on our COVID-19 website
