1. Introduction and Informed Consent

Dear ALL UCC students, Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. There are 13 questions. It should take just 5 minutes.

The study is being carried out by the Praxis Project (www.praxisucc.ie). The Praxis Project aims to integrate Global Citizenship Education (GCE) across UCC. To understand how we can best do this, the opinion of UCC students is crucial to us.

What is GCE?
GCE helps people to critically explore how global justice issues interlink with their everyday lives and how they can act to build a better world. Examples of themes you might expect to see in a GCE course are: human rights, wealth and poverty, refugee and asylum-seeker rights, forced migration, gender equality, food security, sustainable development, war and conflict, social justice, active citizenship, climate justice, access to health, education, housing, colonialism, etc.

Your participation in the survey is voluntary. The results of this study will be used for scholarly and planning purposes only.
If you have any questions about the research study, please contact gertrude.cotter@ucc.ie
