EDITORIAL: Meets monthly the first Thursday, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. via Zoom Conferencing. Responsible for planning, soliciting articles, editing, and publishing the Society's official publication, Sierra Sacramento Valley Medicine

HISTORICAL: Meets at the call of the chair, 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. in-person at the Medical Society Office. The main interest of this committee is the maintenance and collection of historical artifacts relative to the history of medicine. Committee members can volunteer to research local medical history, produce new oral histories, and serve as docents for museum school tours. The committee maintains the medical archive and museum at the Medical Society headquarters.

PUBLIC & ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH: Meets monthly, alternates between lunch and evening meetings, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. or 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. via Zoom Conferencing. The committee studies public health and environmental issues that affect the health and well-being of our community

SCHOLARSHIP & AWARDS: Meets twice a year, 6:00 – 7:00 pm via Zoom Conferencing.
• Reviews and makes recommendations for recipients of the SSVMS Medical Student Scholarship Fund.
• Recommends to the SSVMS Board awards for members of the Society such as the Golden Stethoscope, Community Impact and Outstanding Volunteer Awards.
