BACKGROUND

We're re-imagining the Elm Street / Findlay Market Pocket Park into a play destination where the market meets the minds of imaginative children! The new concept prioritizes types of play oriented towards 2-5 year old children. With other parks in the neighborhood, Grant Park and Washington Park, offering more play features 5-12 year old kids, the Elm Street Pocket Park aims to provide a safe play space for younger children. Our goal is to include a range of accessible play options, while providing ample shade and seating elements for caretakers.
