This questionnaire was designed to assist in the development of an Employee Assistance Program for Civil Servants within the Public Service of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Public Sector Reform Unit (PSRU) within The Ministry of Public Service, Consumer Affairs and Sports is the coordinating agency for this consultancy
An employee assistance program (EAP) is a work-based intervention program designed to assist employees in resolving personal problems that may be adversely affecting the employee's performance. The EAP can help employees with various work-related and personal problems. Examples are:
● Personal worries, doubts or fears
● Grief (death, mourning, separation)
● Work-related stress/ problems with colleagues
● Addiction (e.g. substance abuse, gambling, smoking)
● Domestic violence
● Health issues
● Financial problems
● Retirement
This list isn’t exhaustive. The EAP will support anyone who experiences problems that affect their well-being and work performance.
