Make Up Days

July 26, 2021 through August 5, 2021

We are looking for staff and parent input on the best way to make up the two weeks that we took off due to the spike in Covid-19 cases among our staff (7/26/2021-8/5/2021). We currently have 3 options:

1. Extend the school year. Our current scheduled last day of school is May 5, 2022. If we were to choose this option, the school year would end on May 19, 2022.

2. Project based make-up days. A project would be sent home on a Monday, and be due the following Monday. Each project would equal one make-up day. Projects would not be counted towards the students grades, but instead be counted for their attendance.

3. Use Spring Break (4 days) in combination with 4 project based days (described above). Considering that Spring Break is only 4 days, the other 4 days would be made up using 4 projects.
