Welcome and thank you for submitting your offer to the Origin Story of the Rivers of the World.
Since the beginning of human history, all around the world, there are wonderful stories associated with the rivers and lakes. In every country, these stories have kept the love and respect for the rivers alive. But as humanity moved into the industrial revolution and indigenous cultures were being destroyed these stories are being lost and with them the love and respect for our rivers and lakes is also being destroyed. The generations to come will be totally oblivious to these powerful messages of ancient lore.
The Connection WATER Field, has begun a year long series of recreating these powerful legendary stories of the Rivers and Lakes from all over the World. That we may respect their true essence and remember their importance to all beings on earth.
We invite stories from every part of the world. We invite you to speak to elders and wise old souls of your country or culture who will know about the story of your watershed.
Every river or lake or waterfall has a profound story to tell.
Even if you don't know any elders or native people from that water shed and you are inspired by that water body, all you need to do is go on google or a library treasure hunt and you will find so much information to further inspire and connect you with these lovely divine water bodies.
This series started on February 12, 2021 (Friday), at 1.30 - 2.00 PM (EST)/ 13.30- 14.00 hrs. (EST), in the Good of the Whole - Connection Field, with a story of the mighty rivers and lakes of India.
