 CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

The Illinois TRIO Student Leadership Conference is seeking volunteers to present at the Virtual Illinois TRIO Student Leadership Conference on Fri June 25th - Sat, June 26th, 2021. Our President Lolita L. Mack's theme this year is “Utilizing Transparency and Integrity to Strengthen our Foundation. We are seeking student and staff development workshops that are engaging and interactive.
 
Possible topics may include, but not limited to:
  • Leadership Development
  • Career Education
  • Financial Literacy Education
  • College Preparedness
  • Graduate & Professional School Preparedness
  • Mental Mindfulness
  • Importance of Being Involved
  • Studying Abroad
  • Inclusion and Diversity
  • Adulting: Life After College
  • Etiquette (to include Social Media)
  • Technology
  • Staff Development and Thriving as a Professional
  • Funding Sources Outside of the Federal Grant
Workshop Proposals will be reviewed based on interest, content and relevance to the conference theme. 

Concurrent sessions will be, June 26th  from 10:00am-10:55am and 11:00am-11:55am. Each session will last 55 minutes.
 
The deadline for the submissions are Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
