Public Comment Period on Northwestern Counseling & Support Services

A 14-day period of public comment is provided for the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Vermont Department of Health (VDH) to gather information about Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS).
This is part of the process to decide whether or not the State of Vermont will renew the agency’s designation to deliver mental-health services to adults, children, adolescents and families in Franklin County.
Additionally, this Public Comment Period helps DMH and VDH determine NCSS' readiness to become a Certified Community Based integrated Health Center (CCBHC). CCBHCs are designed to ensure access to coordinated mental health and substance use care and are required to serve anyone who requests care, regardless of their ability to pay, place of residence, or age.
This survey is 7 questions long and asks about your experiences with NCSS. You can skip any question. This survey should take about five minutes. Thank you for your valuable feedback!
