The BVA Veterinary Mentor Award celebrates vets who demonstrate a consistent and meaningful commitment to supporting the growth and development of others, whether through mentoring in clinical or non-clinical settings.

The award is open to all vets registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Anyone can nominate a candidate, but self-nominations are not accepted.

You'll need to provide the following:
  • a statement outlining and evidencing why your nominee deserves to win (maximum 400 words), including evidence against the award criteria (which you can find here)
  • the nominee's full name, email address and RCVS number (which you can find here)
