* 1. At the JCC we have the following COVID guidelines for indoor events:
  • We will be posting signage that clearly explains COVID-19 symptoms, directing people with any exposure or possible exposure to stay home. This will also appear on our website.
  • We will be posting signage that instructs all attendees to maintain 6 feet of physical distance, unless they are from the same family unit. We have configured the Great Room with marks on the carpet and floors to indicate approximately where chairs/people will need to be placed. Each participant is responsible for keeping their chair and/or themselves 6 feet in distance from others at all times.
  • Based on the Great Room’s square footage, we will limit attendance to 34 people.
  • Participants will be required to use face coverings. We will have masks available for purchase for $1.00.
  • We will be placing hand sanitizer (60-95% alcohol content) throughout the building in bathrooms and the Great Room.
  • We have closed the water fountains, we will encourage participants to bring a personal bottle of water, and announce it on our website.
  • We will be asking you to have all participants fill out a brief COVID questionnaire each time they participate and will provide their contact information. This will be necessary information in the event there is a need to do contact tracing with an infected individual. Your information will only be used for these purposes and will not be shared or used for any other reason. These expectations will also appear on our website.
  • No food or drink will be prepared at the Jacksonville Community Center at this time.
  • You are free to open the windows and doors to allow fresh air to circulate throughout the room.
  • Bathrooms and hallway will be limited to 2 people at any one time.
  • We encourage attendees/participants to utilize the hand sanitizer regularly or wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds in the bathroom.

* 2. Would you be comfortable with a cardio exercise program indoors if all participants followed the guidelines stated in the email, and were given marks on the floor that designate 6-8 foot distance between participants?
