“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10)
The pages in this brochure list SOME, not all, areas of service in which you might like to help, or serve together with others, or learn to see if it is something you would like to help with but are unsure of committing at this time.
You might be hesitant to check off too many boxes because you don’t want to always be the one “doing” something, or you don’t want to be locked into something forever. We want to assure you that we are committed to consistently reviewing and renewing our lists, and paying close attention to the number of times you might be asked to help. We may not have been great at doing that at times in the past but are making a huge effort to change that now.
It is our hope that MANY of you will volunteer for MANY items. Then, you may only be selected to help a few times per year on that serving team. In most cases, it might mean you will be sent an email which will ask, “are you available for any of the following dates…?”.
