The NCSEA Judge Ross Leadership Scholarship shall be awarded to an individual in the child support community from the state of Arizona who is demonstrating outstanding potential to improve his or her team’s/program's performance. This scholarship includes conference registration, a one year individual membership in NCSEA and lodging (hotel room and tax) from Sunday, August 6 to Wednesday, August 9. Criteria include writing a brief (150 words) statement on how the applicant would utilize information and networking gained in the course of attending the Leadership Symposium and how he/she would then share that information upon return to the agency. In addition to the statement, the applicant’s manager is required to submit a letter of recommendation as well as a statement that, if chosen, the applicant will be able to travel to the Leadership Symposium.
