Connecting Dutch Heritage in the Hudson River Valley Corridor

Connecting Dutch Heritage in the Hudson River Valley Corridor is a daylong working meeting with educators, historians, preservationists, museum professionals and tourism specialists.

Dutch colonial history represents an aspect of our shared heritage that deserves far more attention. Our primary goal is to educate the public about the enduring legacy and impact of Dutch culture on New York State and the United States as a whole.

This planning meeting will provide opportunities for collaboration and explore ideas for programming next year. This meeting is also a first step towards the creation of tourism-ready programs utilizing the latest scholarship.

The meeting will be held on Thursday October 19th from 9:30am-3:30pm at the Taconic Regional Office, 9 Old Post Road, Staatsburg, NY 12580.
A shuttle to and from the Poughkeepsie train station will be provided for guests arriving by rail.
