South Africa is a country of extremes. Sometimes our optimism for the future transforms from positive to negative based on little more than the Rand/Dollar exchange rate.

Ten years ago, with the change in political power, the Springboks losing some key matches and the Rand taking a tumble, we got the sense that the country as a whole was feeling very down. In that environment, we launched the first Eighty20 Happiness Survey and got a phenomenal response.

Ten years later we are inviting you to take our new survey and get your happiness measure. As is our job, we will aggregate the findings and provide you with interesting insights into South African Happiness, then and now. We use data properly. No personal responses will be divulged, and no further communications will be sent.
