HESPA's two annual conferences are a highlight of our calendar, an excellent opportunity to hear what is going on in the community, pick up new ideas and make new connections. It is vital that our conferences represent the diversity of views and experiences across HESPA and to support that aim we are establishing a Conference Committee.
The Committee will be open to all HESPA members, will comprise 6 - 8 representatives and will be chaired in the first instance by Jonathan Rans, HESPA Executive Director. It will be responsible for supporting the design of the conference programmes. All organisational activities will be the responsibility of HESPA staff in conjunction with YourVision Events and won't demand time from the Conference Committee members. We envisage membership spanning a two-year period with 4-6 meetings per year, concentrated in Spring and early Summer.
If you would like to join our Conference Committee and help to shape the future of our events, please complete this expression of interest form by 5pm, Wednesday 09th September. The HESPA executive aims to appoint members to the committee as soon as possible and we hope to hold an opening meeting by the end of September.
